Sir Nnanna Victor Onyekwere MBBCH, MPH, FWACP, FNIM
Dr. Onyekwere is a public health physician with over 30 years of experience in the public& private sectors, and the academia. He was a former State Coordinator of PrimaryHealthCare, Former Director of Public Health, Rivers State Ministry of Health and Former Provost, Rivers State College of Health Science and Technology. He was an Incident Manager,Emergency operation Centre (EOC), PortHarcourt,CEO/Project Director,African Environment and Human Development Centre (AFRIDA) and an independent Consultant to many other organizations.
He is currently a lecturer at the Dept of Community Medicine, College of Medical Sciences, Rivers State University and an Honourary consultant to the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital
Dr Onyekwereholds, a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery, Master of Public health, Post graduate Certificate in health Planning and Management, Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians and fellowship of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
Dr Onyekwere is a knight of the Anglican Communion and an Eze in his community.
